General: 

 

Your corn is sampled, weighed, the moisture tested and the test weight taken when you arrive.  All calculations are made using this information.  A copy of the scale ticket will be given to you at the time of delivery. 

 

We reserve the right to reject corn on the basis of quality to preserve the quality of the other corn in storage.  We will be responsible for maintaining corn in good condition and to insure it against loss.  Prices are subject to change without formal notification.  All price changes will be posted on the effective dates. 

 

Discount Schedules: 

 

Test Weight:  If corn is sold to Agri-Partners, the following discounts apply: 

 

$.01 for each 1 lb. under 54.0 to 52.0
$.02 for each 1 lb. under 51.9 to 50.0
$.03 for each 1 lb. under 49.9 to 48.0
$.04 for each 1 lb. under 47.9 to 42.0 

 

Moisture:  $.02 1/2 for each 1/2 point down to 15% for Priced or Contracted bushels. 

 

Corn for storage will be discounted to 14%. 

 

Shrink:  .7% for each 1/2 point over 15% for Priced or Contracted bushels. 

 

Corn for storage will be shrunk to 14%. 

 

Storage: 

 

We will allow 10 days of "free time" before your corn will be put into storage.  You will have 10 days to decide whether you should sell your corn or whether you should leave it in storage.  There will be no "free time" for loading out your grain if it is brought to our facility dry.  (14% or less moisture).  Fees for this will fall under Out Handling Charges.  A minimum monthly storage fee of $5.00 will apply. 

 

Cost of Storage: 

 

If you do not wish to market your corn immediately, you may store it at our dryer.  Corn going into storage will be charged a flat $.12 per bushel for storage until December 31 of this year.  After January 1 of next year, the cost of storage will be $.0017 per bushel per day or approximately $.05 per bushel per month. 

 

Payment for Corn: 

 

If you sign a contract to sell your corn, you will be paid for that corn within 10 days after you complete your contract.  If your corn is sold on a "spot" market, you will be paid for that corn within 7 days. 

 

Out Handling Charges: 

 

You will be charged $.15 per bushel or a minimum of $15.00 per load if you wish to remove your corn from storage to take home or to market with a different company.  Any grain received dry and removed from the dryer, will be charged the $.15 per bushel handling charge.  There will be no charge for grain that is processed through CP Feeds LLC, our feed mill or for grain being sold through Agri-Partners.  If you wish to take whole corn out through our feed mill, the $.15 per bushel fee will apply.
